Sad thing is, on social levels, I found a great deal of common cause with classical (moderate) democrats... rights and freedoms for all... equal opportunity for all

If the democrats ever start getting large numbers of Daniel Patrick Moynihans then go back and we can have a civilized conversation. He might be independent too for the time being. At least I would like to think so.
The country would be better off with 2 non-nutty parties pulling like a tug of war and ending up in the middle. Believe me the Republicans have a lot of faults too.
I am rude to leftists here because I assume they are nutty like the ones on TV. I can't cuss at the famous ones so our locals serve as proxies.
I will try to remember not to cuss at you.
