Gee, you think the low value placed upon education might have a lil' sumfin' to do with the perception that it doesn't matter if you get an education because the system is racist and stacked against you? Or a lil' sumfin' to do with institutionalized racism that resulted in blacks being barred from the good schools and as a result being pessimistic in regard to education?

How about Germany or Brazil? Vietnam? Thailand or maybe Spain where they throw bananas at black soccer players? Some of the most racist places I've ever seen. That racism exists in other places around the world doesn't mean that America isn't largely racially segregated.
And don't pretend to know me. I've traveled the world extensively. And I haven't watched any tv news in over a year, CNN included. My tv hasn't been turned on yet in 2017. Not even to watch an LSU game or check the weather.
