Collapsing? I just checked and as of close today NFLX is down just under 4% for the last week but up more than 30% since the beginning of the year.

I love all the downvotes in this thread for the people correctly observing that the stock is not collapsing.

This doesn't have anything to do with the whole year, dumbass. It pertains to some incredibly heinous programming for children that just happened. The stock is down AFTER that took place.

Canceled. Been meaning to do it. I don’t watch it, but the wife has a few shows that she used to watch.

That's got potential to hurt Netflix badly over time. That's like Cuties, but more disgusting.

Anything related to heathenistic Hollywood should be canceled.

Probably that in part, and perhaps in part that there’s only so much fresh and captivating content they can keep coming up with. At some point the effort to continue to produce at a nonstop rate results in contrived and forced content.

Yes when it comes to the latest news he seems to be ahead of MSM. His podcast on Greta’s sailboat updates are funny as all get up. He was also the guy who got Jimmy K in hot water.

I never mentioned the whole year, DUMBASS. I was literally quoting today's move. And I repeat: TODAY, Netflix stock was down less than 1%. Feel free to melodramatically characterize that as a "collapse", low-information melodrama queen.

Ironic dummy is hugely ironically dumb.

My last response to you dude, because you're one of the posters here for whom it is a waste of time trying to have a real conversation. But, seriously, posting a comment thanking people for all the "downvotes" they gave to the OP? I mean, how pathetic is that?

I don't give a flip about upvotes/downvotes. But since YOU mentioned it, I checked the OP. Upvotes are 26 and downvotes are 8 right now. I dont care about that, but obviously you lied about it. Hell, if you're going to post a comment for the sole purpose of disparaging me, at least have your facts straight.

And, Obtw, I just saw some information posted which indicated that Netflix stock is down 6%, which translates to a loss of $20 billion dollars.

I presented the title in the form of a question, which was supposed to convey the idea to your stupid mind that I don't know if the sudden decline will continue or not. But the fact remains, there has been a recent decline.

Which means, as usual, that you are full of shite.

Sheesh, you dummy - you REALLY can't read. I NEVER thanked people for downvotes of the OP. WTF are you talking about? I said I was amused at the downvotes for ME and the other people saying correct things.

You are literally just making shite up. Show receipts or STFU.

For the calendar day October 2, 2025, it was down .70%. Sorry about these unfairly accurate facts.

I said it wasn't collapsing and I was downvoted.

And now I'm being berated for 2 different made up things in your head. Clown world.

The business model isn't sustainable. Their subscriber numbers are directly related to creating new content, and the cost of new content isn't sustainable. The attempt at gaming has been a flop and they can't get into a lot of the Asian markets. They are at the top of their business model bell curve and they only have one product to sell. Disney offers better content and is a more diversified business.
