Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas have all passed the COS resolution.

The problem is when did being a congressman become a full time fricking job? Why does the government have so much business that they have to be in DC 80% of the time. Term limits is a band aid over a gapping gash. I want to apply a tourniquet and let the whole place rot off.

But, even with term limits the bigger issue is likely life time bureaucrats in positions most people don't know exist that wield extraordinary power, and there's essentially no way to get rid of all of them so I'm not sure how big a dent term limits would actually make.
Many of these lifetime bureaucrats have power because they have dirt on politicians. J. Edgar Hoover did it best. Do you ever question why the FBI didn't investigate Hunter Biden's laptop? They said they didn't have the resources. Maybe it was because knowing the information that was on that laptop was a helluva lot more useful to them than prosecuting Biden was.
Anyone who has been in DC for 40 years has probably done a lot of things that compromise themselves. Rotating fresh blood through will make it much more difficult for the bureaucrats to control our representatives.
