When did the 11(I believe 30) million illegals get an invitation to be GUEST workers in the country with all the ills that they cause across the board in terms of expenses to the citizens of the "We the People" of the Constitution?

Yes. Not toward any citizenship path, but rather to a legal worker visa program, residence documentation, coupled with appropriate border security.
This. NO PATH TO CITIZENSHIP without going back to homeland and waiting in line. Kids brought over can gain citizenship through 8 years active duty military service.

We need to reword migration to get more of the skilled workers into the country.
But amnesty is designed to get a bunch of hispanics in to vote dem.

No thank you. I don't think you should be permitted to participate in government programs as a prerequisite to citizenship. Especially considering that the military doesn't need more bodies, it needs fewer bodies. I see all sorts of fail associated with a policy of this nature.

People have been enlisted in the military without citizenship for years. A young man named P. Dubon-Herera gained his citizenship in 1987 this way, I was fortunate enough to attend the ceremony at Mount Rushmore. He was in the Air Force.

HAHA. Ok, I relent. But they must remain in training camps on their side of the border. All our active duty guys can go TDY and give them quarterly training.

Yes of course.
They are here, they aren't leaving you might as well be collecting taxes from them.

Oh yeah, I am aware. I have attended quite a few of these (not at rushmore though haha). These guys are for the most part exceptional, with a few turds sprinkled in for flavor. In fact on of the guys I know was an officer in the French Legion and this guy was outstanding. I would still prefer that these people achieve citizenship first, then apply for the services. Certainly I would consider military experience (or any other experience) when determining their eligibility for citizenship.

I support there being a process for amnesty that requires following of some strict requirements: be fluent in english is number one. After that, they can fulfill one of the following options: enlist in the armed forces and be granted citizenship post honorable discharge, be able to pass certification exams to be certified tradesmen (carpenters, welders, electricians, ironworkers, ect), possess a bachelors or better degree from a 4 year accredited university.
If one can prove that they are doing/have done these things, they can get amnesty for 4 years probation when they can start paying taxes, enrolling their children in public schools, purchase health insurance, get library cards, get drivers licenses but not vote or receive government benefits.
After 4 years, if no felonies have been committed and all certifications or whatever have been proven to be completed, they become full, naturalized citizens. One felony conviction, though, and they are deported and can never get amnesty or citizenship again.

I'm open and listening to all the solutions to illegal immigration up to and including amnesty if it's packaged in a plan that will deal with this issue in a way that benefits our nation.
But this is the question that I would like answered: when it comes to immigration, why does the United States have to take in everyone? So you crossed the border. Wonderful. Is that enough cause for the United States to spend it's resources on you and put you on the path to citizenship?
In the past, the United States welcomed pretty much everyone openly, because we had a nation to build and half a continent to occupy. Folks, that nation is built. The days of open immigration need to come to an end.
I don't care what nation you are from or what color you are. All I want out of a new immigrant to this nation is someone who has a clean criminal record, has a skill that is in demand (they don't all have to be scientists, America needs laborers, too), and that they agree to pursue citizenship within oh, I dunno, five years or so. Is that so hard? Because right now there's a few million illegals walking among us who have only one or even none of the three simple traits I listed above.
Would it be to much to ask that they learn English? Some would probably think so. I don't. But I'll settle for what I listed above.
If our nation is going to step up and provide more resources for immigrants, which seems to increase every year, then it's time for America to ask more of those we let in. We do not HAVE to take just anyone anymore. There's nothing wrong with believing that or saying that.

Thanks man. I'm looking forward to it. I love the Corps but there is certainly a lot of bullshite to deal with there. I assume there's some of that everywhere though. Still should be though.
