Potholes can be aggravating. A little gravel and asphalt would help remedy that situation.

That wasn’t a pothole, it was an open manhole cover that was reported for days prior to that accident, yet never fixed.
Maybe there is a local soil condition that is too weak for normal road construction, that would help explain the pothole thing - but regardless it was not done well.

I have slightly different theory. I think most folks in the South have had some sort of moral upbringing. Whether Baptist or Catholic, at least we were taught right from wrong, respect elders, treat others as you want to be treated. These white northern libtards seem to be completely Godless and devoid of any structure growing up other than what secular govt run schools put in their pea brains.
