I believe I've attended some masses at Catholic churches named "Christ is King".
More likely Christ THE King. The Catholic chapel on LSU's campus for instance.

Again, this surrounds Candace. She is a recent Catholic convert and on fire right now. Over time she will simmer down so I'm enjoying her fire right now.
I'm pretty plugged into this debate, where it started and where's it's being fought within online Christian (and not) influencers.
I'll not weigh in on Candace's conversion other than I think it's completely reasonable to have doubts about her motivations.

I do not get a grift vibe from Candace at all. I think her motivations are entirely sincere. She believes what she says.
Now, she may cover different topics for rating purposes but all content providers do that. They give their viewers what they want.
In fact, when she covers Hollywood and place intrigue stories her ratings are almost double political topics. So she doing more of those type of shows. I find them boring so I don't listen. But this resurrected fight with DW is entertaining to me.

Who is they?
I said in the OP that it was the DW (Daily Wire) because it is Jordan Peterson, Jeremy Boring and Andrew Klaven specifically. Some have added the ADL too.

"Christ is King" was trending hard on X yesterday after the DW heavily intimated at a minimum, that it is hate speech.
What did the DW say?

I try not to make a habit out of questioning people's sincerity in conversions, including her.
I don't know if I'd call it a grift, but I also (ironically) think she's behaving pretty oddly and Kanye-like fashion of late, so I will wait to see how it balances over time for her.
I'll just say that when someone converts and then dives into aggressive cultural fights right off the bat, often not really demonstrating much in the way of Christian tenets or focusing much on Christianity other than its trappings - I am particularly "wait and see." But there is also a concept we call "cage stage" in reformed Christianity, where you often sort of take on the world as you struggle through the new life you're living. So I think that's a possibility too, and one most of us grow out of.

This is a difficult one. It appears that all are sincere in truly believing their side is the side of truth. My problem with Shapiro is he’s quick to tell other minorities to suck it up and take personal responsibility and against DEI policies, which I am 100% agreement on. But when it comes to Jews he’s all about protectionist policies and the like.

I'll let grok summarize for you:
quote:
As of March 14, 2025, the ongoing tension between Candace Owens and Daily Wire personalities—namely Jeremy Boreing, Jordan Peterson, and Andrew Klavan appears to have flared up again, prompting Owens to release a new YouTube video in response to recent X posts. While I don’t have access to the specific X posts or the exact content of Owens’ latest video beyond what’s already public up to this date, I can summarize the situation based on the established context and current sentiment reflected on X.
The rift between Owens and the Daily Wire, which culminated in her departure in March 2024, has not fully subsided. Posts on X from early March 2025 suggest that Boreing, Peterson, and Klavan have recently made comments critical of Owens, reigniting the feud. For instance, sentiment on X indicates that Klavan and Peterson have targeted Owens over her use of "Christ is King" or related statements, with some users interpreting these as accusations of antisemitism or hypocrisy. Boreing, as CEO, has also been implicated in this renewed clash, possibly addressing Owens’ post-Daily Wire trajectory or her ongoing commentary. These posts seem to have struck a nerve, as X users note Owens’ quick response with a new YouTube video, likely uploaded in the days leading up to March 14, 2025.
Owens’ history with the Daily Wire shows she’s not one to stay silent. After her exit, she accused the outlet of trying to stifle her and has since doubled down on her independence, launching new content on her own platforms. Her latest video—presumably titled or framed as a direct rebuttal—appears to be a reaction to what she perceives as divisive or provocative statements from her former colleagues. X posts suggest she may have challenged them to a public debate, possibly on topics like antisemitism or cultural issues (e.g., pornography, as hinted in some X chatter), aiming to shift the conversation from social media sniping to a more substantive format.
From the Daily Wire side, Boreing, Peterson, and Klavan haven’t fully “moved on” as the user suggests. Boreing has previously justified Owens’ exit by arguing her rhetoric undermined the company’s values, while Klavan has tied her departure to the "Christ is King" controversy, calling her use of scripture manipulative. Peterson, a newer voice in this specific spat, might be leveraging his philosophical lens to critique Owens’ approach, as X users hint at him labeling her a "grifter" or "Pharisee." These recent X posts, described as divisive, likely reflect their continued frustration with Owens’ influence and her framing of the split.
Owens’ YouTube response, then, is her counterpunch—consistent with her pattern of using video platforms to reclaim the narrative, as seen after her 2024 exit when she relaunched her show independently. Without the exact video content, it’s reasonable to infer she’s addressing these latest criticisms head-on, possibly calling out her ex-colleagues for what she might see as petty or hypocritical attacks, while rallying her base to see her as the wronged party.
The feud’s persistence highlights a deeper fracture in conservative media circles, with Owens’ departure from the Daily Wire still fueling personal and ideological clashes a year later. Posts on X reflect a mix of support for Owens’ defiance and frustration with the Daily Wire’s inability to let it go, suggesting this spat remains a live wire in the public square as of March 14, 2025.

When the Noahide laws that were signed into law in 1991 are put into action, Jesus will be considered blasphemy. Its coming soon.

Who is "they" that want to make this hate speech? That's what my question was.
Y'all say "they" all the time to essentially describe no one.

So you have no idea why the accusation that the DW is attempting to make "Christ is King" hate speech is being made?
All you have is that they disagree with one another?

I'm pretty sure I know exactly why. I said it on the first page. To reiterate and quote myself:
quote:
But the DW folks with ADL are mad at Candace using the phrase because they are interpreting it as a pejorative because Candace has anti-Zionists opinions.
