Sorry, baw. According to Wikipedia, Sellers was dead before my parents were in high school. Please forgive me
So you don't know anything that happened before your mother put out in the back seat of a Grand Marquis?

Peter Sellers is one of the greatest actors of the 20th century. I'm honestly amazed you've never heard of him. I have a fondness for some of his smaller films, Being There, The Mouse that Roared, the amazing film, The Party, which is just incredible.

I remember Peter Sellers in The Party but I don't remember that one. But, I was working 80 weeks in 79 and 80 so movies were not my outlet.
Seems like Sellers had like 5 heart attacks before the big, last one.

ETA - Forgot about the Pink Panther movies.

It's why the youth are ok with Communism..it all happened in Great Grandpa's day..and wasn't "Democratic Socialism"..

Besides, Jude Law the Commie Sniper, was the good guy in that one film about those wars that they saw(Enemies at the Gate)..

And Mototcycle Diaries..Che takes a vacation..5 stars.

Same, although my knowledge of 20th century film is significantly limited by the fact that I do not personally remember one single moment of the 20th century and neither of my parents were the type to care about showing me old movies

this is the argument you'd expect from a 10 year old. Nothing exists except my personal memory

The LSU Union showed Being There in the little theater/assembly area circa1987 or so. I got some extra credit (Eng. Satire?) for seeing it - though a Sellers fan, I hadn't seen it until then. I was stoned as a rat - good times.
