Anonymous sources don’t allow for due process in the court of public opinion. All you need to do is make an allegation and rely on people to trust that they aren’t being lied to.

Trump, nor any other president would have said that in a room full of military people. This is so utterly stupid it may drive a few votes to Trump.

Jeffrey Goldberg, a full on Obama lackey reported this shite.

but then the AP, Washington Post, and Fox News all confirmed it with their sources.

I dont have an opinion on this either way, on one hand its impossible to "know" it happened without audio, and on the other hand trump has no filter, he will absolutely berate anyone at anytime if they annoy him. So Im sittin this one out, but 4 people reporting the same thing is noteworthy. At the very least someone in the White House is telling them that.

You should read Glenn Greenwald's latest column on the Intercept to see how this happens.

They didn't confirm anything other than reprinting the Atlantic's word. It's been the same except scenario we've seen over and over and over again during trumps presidency. The entire dossier fiasco was just the beginning.

Furthermore Fox flippef flopped on it.

John Roberts was there and couldn't confirm it to be true.
