College Football in the South once appealed to most Southerners regardless of political orientation. Look at the Iron Bowl.

It was a fierce rivalry that all Alabamians took pride in — something unique and special that reflected positively on the entire State.
Yet progs can have none of that: if any cultural experience does not promote the prog agenda, it must be transformed or destroyed. Progs destroy everything they can control.
