Sounds like the movie Midnight in Paris.

Damn, Cincinnati is only 47% white?

That’s the city proper. Much higher % for metro area especially if including N Kentucky.
1994 again?

It's called National Signing Day

Used to be one of the biggest days of the year in LSU football. The Bayou Bash! Right up there with first game of the year.

Why did we need an early signing period? Just go back to everyone signs on NSD in February. Not sure what you do with the portal but would suggest it opens the day after the National Championship game.

My view of Greenland is helicopter pilot from Walter Mitty.

Why does she think she’s just going to be let go.

Because she likely always had.

Find it funny that Kyle Whittingham is being praised by all media for his move and Lane is getting the opposite.

Same as 2021 when Lincoln Riley to USC was loved by the media as “brilliant” and “sexy” while BK to LSU was “everything that’s wrong with college football”.

What’s the common denominator? Easy to say LSU but is it really that both coaches were widely considered to be unlikable and controversial?

Either way the media is being consistently inconsistent in their reporting. As always.

Ok, then reduce the amount of teams in the playoffs because there aren't 9 teams better than Alabama.

Wrong. Notre Dame and BYU would’ve been more competitive than bama today.
And played like complete dogshite for a month before this. This should’ve mattered to the committee.
They need to go back to recency bias. How are teams playing at the end of the season? Are they on an upward or downward trajectory? This used to be part of the criteria but with the new focus on not penalizing losses in “meaningless” conference championship games, I think this has been lost.

I agree that a team shouldn’t be punished for losing an extra game in which they are competitive. But, in the case of bama this year, if you have played like utter dogshite for a month and are completely non-competitive in the CCG, that should matter.
Notre Dame. Say what you want about their schedule but they would’ve competed.

Leathea’s in Foxworth MS.

Yep. I’m from Columbia and knew both well. Leathea’s was victim of being bought and moved to Hattiesburg.

How bout the Round Table that was in Mendenhall and still present Walnut Hills in Vicksburg. Both go back decades.

There was also a Round Table in Columbia. 40 miles East of McComb on Hwy 98 but it closed sometime before Katrina.

Was like going back in time. Old black ladies would cook and serve the food and you would have a mix of nearly every social status breaking bread together.

ETA - looks like it remained open well past Katrina but burned in early 2015.
He’s Travis Kelsey for the night.
