I wish they wouldn’t broadcast The defendant smiling like that. I mean, I’m sure today was a huge relief for him with the prosecution basically proving his innocence for him but it’s still just another reason for a target on his back.

100%. This case should have never seen the light of day. You’re seeing the results of bringing a case where almost every fact and bit of evidence is against you. It becomes a total shiteshow. This has nothing to do with justice and is totally political. The fact this was brought to trial should scare all of us.

I thought lefty was knowledgeable up until a point but then he just imploded. The prosecution spent a considerable amount of time painting him a Good Samaritan, just out giving aid and comfort. Then he runs down a list of equipment he had including things used chest wounds caused by gun shots. Then it occurred to me, why would you not run to the victim of a gun shot after claiming all of this training? Why would you give chase in the opposite direction. Once the defense got ahold of him, he just fell apart.

He was the best prosecution witness by far during direct examination. Well spoken, articulate started out well, but started to sound a little self serving.
Then, the defense got their turn.
