That's the thing with him though, there's been a million polished politicians that came along and said all the right things - I'll give you that.
But he has a long list of actual conservative policy wins in Florida, things he said he would accomplish and did.
I don't understand where the disconnect is. He's had actual tangible results to point to when it comes to conservative policy ideals, results that his electorate obviously loved and were wildly successful because he blew out his reelection and won typically blue areas in Florida.
Can you point to anything actually *tangible* that gives you pause, other than a feeling you have?

You can spin this anyway you want. I listened to the entire clip before I posted.
Again, whoever made the comments about moving to the middle specifically said that he wanted to offer talking points that would appeal to the “donor class.” Whatever role this person has in the DeSantis campaign is not clear from the audio but this is obviously someone associated with the campaign.

It’s not obvious. Donors were asking questions and they gave the mic to the guy that brought up “legal safe reliable”
The DeSantis strategists laid it out plainly that they weren’t backing down from their abortion stance and that there’d be no compromise. You’re the one spinning this.

Trump certainly never tried and has zero inclination to do so as he's essentially a 3rd party candidate that took the party's name and money. Much like Sanders has done the past couple elections.

Yes one of the strategists said that DeSantis wouldn’t back down. Yet again, the voice that spoke about moving to the middle said his “talking points” were directed to the “donor class.”
That was a specific answer about campaign strategy in response to the earlier question about appealing to pro-abortion voters in the general election. The only spin here is suggesting that this voice did not say what he said.

It was a donor that said that because they’re setting the donors up for calls and meetings to get even more donors.
No one in the campaign said anything about moving to the middle or quoted Clinton. It was all ONE SINGLE DONOR that brought that up.
