Not sure what happened someone grubbed wooded kudzu property next to me and maybe that started it? Noticed the indoor cat who sometimes goes outside for a few minutes in the yard was covered in fleas. After bombing her room multiple times and still fleas finally just tore out the carpet. Got fleas off her with medicine and flea comb. We wash the dog with dawn and he has a flea collar and we comb him regulary but every week he has 5-8 fleas on him. I notcied outside walking him one day one jumped on my leg. I would have thought low 20s weather would get them but they are still getting on him. He stays in kitchen with no carpet and floor is cleaned regularly. We have washed his bedding, got new bedding etc.

Any reccomendations on killing fleas around house? Also a good preventative for the dog. Flea collar is useless. Thanks.
