This right here reveals you to be an indoctrinated IDIOT who knows NOTHING about foreign policy, national security, or leadership on the world stage. Your worship of a tapioca drooling depends pissing dementia patient who has in short order made the United States the laughing stock to both ally and foe completely defies any semblance of logic or education on your part. The fricktard Biden was a corrupt piece of shite for nearly 50 years. He is now an incompetent drooling sock puppet.

They believe they are morally superior and have the moral high ground. I don’t think many know or much care about any of the intricacies or policies that their chosen political groups support or advocate for.

The jab. The answer is "The Jab".

You are greatly overestimating the ability and ambition of the "natives" in this country.

I can see where the Republican party is drifting towards and it's not free trade, globalization and lack of tariffs. Trump has 'changed' the party in a way that I don't particularly agree with.
Again, in 2016 Bernie Sanders was the original protectionist candidate—and it's fine to call him crazy and all, but if you want to talk about someone changing a party, that guy has absolutely pulled the Democratic Party left a crazy amount. He had his protectionist policies adopted by the entire party according to their website, for four solid years. I'm not sure why they backed off—probably because continuing to blast Trump for the exact same policies they espoused on their website was too obvious even for them after a certain point—but they have already demonstrated that they like them even if it isn't politically expedient to say so at the moment.
Yes, Trump failed to stop illegal immigration. Small wonder, with mayors, governors, and Congresspeople alike who couldn't care less about the laws of the country. Let's try this this way: Do you want illegal immigration stopped?
quote:
But others have realized that his rhetoric will be able to win them primaries and they'll copy him.
O.k. Who? Who is out there copying Trump? Advocating for reducing legal immigration and tariffs?
Also, why is it so bad for Republicans to copy Trump—which hasn't happened yet—but it's fine for Democrats to copy Sanders—which absolutely has happened now, twice, when you yourself call him "crazy?"
Plus, I think you misunderstand. I don't think all those people voted for Trump. I think they voted against Biden.
Yes, there is a minority of the party base who really specifically likes Trump—just like the same is true of Sanders on the other side—and yes, this board is the best example of that contingent I have seen anywhere on the internet, but I have seen no evidence that the majority of people who voted for Trump specifically want him, they just don't want European-style socialism, which the Democrats are determined to give us. And more and more of them are being upfront about it.
Ignore the downvotes. People who downvote without engaging are cowards.

1. I agree that tariffs are bad in just about every case. However, when it comes to China, whatever we've been doing for decades obviously hasn't worked. So whats your solution? Youre against tariffs...okay fine? Whats your alternative?
2. How would you have suggested he handle it? The CDC went full political mode. The CDC can make decisions in a vacuum. Their job is to minimize the spread and/or eradicate the virus. Taken to extremes, this means lock everything and everyone down. The president doesn't have the luxury of making decisions this way. He has to consider whether the cure is worse than the disease. IMO, this is one instance where I wish Trump had stood his ground and NOT given in to the hysteria.
On a side note, had Trump done all the things you wish he had done, regardless of what those things might be, I believe that 80% of those people who have strong opinions on the COVID matter would have totally opposite opinions today. It's political and its about supporting your "team" for most people.
3. But you do work. In what sane universe should a guy like you, making between 100-200K pay 40K in taxes? And that's only what shows up on your pay stub. What part of lower taxes doesn't appeal to you, especially when you consider how much money Washington wastes?
4. I agree with you on abortion.
5. This depends how one defines "globalization". What part of our economy is not open to the world markets? And at the same time, why is it bad to put America first?
6. Funny, I didn't see a real economic platform from the democrats either, unless you consider raising taxes and spending money on Green New Deals and such. Maybe it's just me, but I'd prefer no policy at all or to just be surprised with one rather than openly support that crap.
7. Why is a replacement plan for Obamacare needed? Well played by democrats for somehow convincing so many people that a replacement was needed. All that's needed is to allow insurance companies to compete freely and openly for your business.
8. That's pretty vague. Call him unstable if you must, but I do know that China wouldn't be threatening to Nuke Japan with Trump in office, and that while Trump himself might seem unstable, the rest of the world would be much more stable with him in office.
9. We agree to point on immigration. But the issue isn't immigration as a whole. Its illegal immigration that's a problem. We should have secure borders and we should properly vet everyone who wants to come here. And frankly, in todays world we should be selective on who we let in. But yes, we do need more immigration. Legal immigration.
My proposal is that I will invent a button to implant on my arse. And when the button is pressed, wings will pop out of my back and I'll fly everywhere rather than drive. That's my platform. It's very clear and coherent. But that doesn't mean it isn't stupid and impossible.
If you think Biden is stable, then I don't know what to tell you. If Trump was acidic, then Biden is absolutely Caustic. They'll both burn you in some ways. I do not consider an administration where the president seems to be losing his marbles and unknown people with radical agendas appear to be running the show to be stable at all.

Well, I'll give it to this one- can at least put together semi-coherent arguments, even if wrong, misguided, immoral and evil (dude loves him some China slave labor and open borders). Part capitalist, very elitist, mostly nihilist, and a liberal in name only.
