It truly is a Religion!
The Left haven't given up on God, they just created new gods. They worship the state and the social utopia that will never come. If you look at the Modern Social Justice Left, its Christianity in everything but name...
The rejection of individualism, and the belief in trans-individual values: God for religion, the human community for socialism
Both based on a wager! the Pascalian wager on the existence of God, the Marxist wager on the liberation of humanity
Both have a core of unprovable beliefs
White Privilege = Original Sin
Socialism = Heaven
Hallelujah!

Definitely a religion. I am yet to see a single “Christian” friend say that their faith must take priority over some nutso liberal position.
