If you pay for your own food and healthcare, eat as much shite as you want. If you are on food stamps or Medicare/medicaid, you should be limited in what you are allowed to eat

Agree

On guns, I oppose restrictions on silencers, bump stocks etc. I don’t have an issue with red flag laws, as long as there is consequences for false reporting. People with mental illness, who are troons, Muslim should not own guns.

No restrictions on guns other than age limits to buy them.

If people are too crazy to own a gun, they shouldn't be in the street or even in the country. So get them out or let them own them.

I get the libertarian argument for abortion, famous violinist player and all. Still needs to be banned. It’s contributing to societal decay.

The fact that birth control is so available and we still have so many abortions is insane. I think in the future people will look back at abortion the way we look at slavery now.

Birth right citizenship needs to go. People who are 2nd, 3rd gen here who still call their ancestral land “home” have no business being in this country.

Agree

No gay marriage. No sex Ed until high school and it should be limited to teaching about STDs.

If you give tax benefits for married people you must allow gays to marry IMO.

To me there is a difference between the government piece of paper that says two people are married and a biblical marriage. I don't really give a shite about the former other than that its necessary paperwork. I am biblically married to my wife, and IMO gay people are not biblically married and never will be. Their church may see it differently.

Domestic companies should be able to operate as they wish. It’s reasonable to regulate exports that could impact the nation.

I agree generally, but companies like Blackrock shouldn't be buying single family homes.

I’m conflicted on that issue. As I said, it’s not black and white. There is no inherent problem with companies buying property. The issue is housing is not free market though, zoning restrictions in urban areas are ridiculous. I would start on the side of no restricting black rock from buying homes, but I would be open to regulatory action depending on what it would be.

Edit: that goes for a variety of industries. It ends up being state sanctioned monopolies.

The issue is that companies with so much capital can buy a large percentage of homes in an area then inflate the prices to drive up rent. And then they can always move off them and gradually sell at those inflated prices so there isn't a value crash.

I know its not the free market solution, but owning your own piece of ground has been a fundamental part of the American dream for a long time, and I think we should generally try to make doing so as attainable as possible (without giving out money to people).
