This however, is the primary reason any nation uses tariffs.

I am shocked that the American people can see the economic devastation, to industries such as the steel industry, that happened once we dropped tariffs to insanely low levels and say "yeah, this is good". That destroyed many cities and lives. Meanwhile we allowed the feds to makeup the shortfall by taxing us on so much more.

Anyway, I am a fan of tariffs. Not a fan on most other taxes levied upon us.
