BoarEd, it’s over. You need to find fulfillment somewhere else. How about a spiritual retreat in Idaho for a while? No, you’re not going to turn into a hippie. You just need to connect with your roots and stop thinking about over the top conspiracy theories. Trust me, it’s fun and fulfilling. Just ride horses for a while, set up camp, and having a nice lakeside view for a week or two? It’s what you need since you’ve lost your fricking mind and need to get grounded again.

And these people haven’t publicly denied it either. They could just do that and not sue...that doesn’t cost inordinate amounts of money. Probably scared to call a defamation lawyer a liar if they have a guilty conscience. May get sued for defamation if he really has the goods.

Covid stuff has been difficult for people who were already socially isolated to begin with. I have a close family member with a long history of instability, and it's almost clockwork if I see a new conspiracy theory or alert bouncing around the interwebs, he's going to start talking about it like he's the only one with this inside knowledge. Or the text messages will start up, telling me to go outside and see if the street lights were turned off because the shite is about to hit the fan.
His behavior hasn't left him with a ton of normal sane people to talk to on a regular basis in real life, so the internet fantasies provide some sort of false connection to "what's really going on."
I took a little roadtrip recently to go sightseeing and hang out w/ some fun people, and I think your advice for getting out and reconnecting with the real world is always good advice.

He hasn't won any defamation trials of note the AJC beat his arse for 10 years running in the Jewell case and Elon's attorneys slapped him around last year. He tries to get the high profile cases then settle for nuisance to get the "win". He was known to be a decent fixer and crisis manager in the past and did get a huge verdict in a whistleblower case a few years back.
I am hoping against hope Sidney will have him defend her against Dominion, Dominion hired Tom Clare (Clare Locke) its a boutique firm but he worked at Kirkland Ellis for 20 years, he is the real swinging dick in defamation these days.
Lin lost it a year and a half ago, one can read about it in the suit his former partners brought against him. They have letters, emails and voice recordings. He just apparently became 100% unhinged.

You understand there is no burden of proof until someone sues someone right?. I suggested they (the accused) could squash this by denouncing it. Otherwise people will continue to wonder why they haven’t. That isn’t a burden of proof issue. But, keep trying to play lawyer on the internet.
