But I don't think allowing just anyone to carry a gun is a good idea. I don't think a person should be allowed to carry a gun in public without some kind of training.

A little uncommon sense, gerald65...

Little street thug slings dope until he has enough scratch to buy a "strap". Strap is a street word for pistol, most usually of the illegally acquired type. He then concealed carries, until he uses the strap to kill exactly who he intended to kill, quite successfully.

Do you think the little street thug underwent "some kind of training" before he successfully killed someone? Do you think they have an approved street thug hold the pistol sideways concealed carry safety course that street thug takes before he put a cap in that arse?

What is stopping this from happening right now? Do you think criminals get training? In most instances the law abiding spend hundreds to thousands to get training and they cannot conceal carry until they are fingerprinted by the government.

In your world the good guy gets punished without committing a crime in orer to protect themselves.

What kind of training do you think La'Da'Traveeyon and Young Crakadass have?

Maybe I missed it but when will the house vote? I'm ready to see this become reality.

Assuming it passes the house and the governor's office-which it's expected to do-the law will go into effect July 4th.

Correct. Still curious when the house vote will be, if that's known.
