You think casssidy would have secured oil royalties for the state? Doubt it

Cassidy's advisors and staff would have gotten it done the same way that Landrieu's advisors and staff got it done.....the face would have been the only difference. The folks behind the politician's in Washington are where the talent lies my friend.....talent definitely doesn't lay on the face there.

I love the jungle primary. Most of these will go to December, but it's something that makes Louisiana unique.

You'll probably find that the "Arguments For" and "Arguments Against" sections at the end of each amendment will provide the most basic explanations.

So you're standing with the OP cheering replacing Landrieu with Cassidy who will no doubt sell "conservatism" down the river as soon as the Repubs decide they have to put forth legislation. Immigration, ACA fix, etc... all will be issues voted on by Cassidy. I'm betting he will be anti-liberty on all.

IYO Bill Cassidy moves the country to the right? Pardon me while I laugh at you

More so than Mary.

I realize you're being an arse because you are too simple to understand incrementalism and how this country has gradually devolved into a entitled socialist state over the last 50 years. That will not be corrected in one or two election cycles The country will have to be tapered from socialism as it is unwilling to go cold turkey. That will not happen with Landrieu in office, but can begin with even questionable conservatives at this time.

But, keep fussing like a 5 year old because you can't get 100% of what you want now.

Uh, if Mary got 50% today it would have nothing to do with Maness taking votes. You understand math, correct?

Just heard CB Forgotson and Stonechipher claim that if she gets under 40% she'll drop out, IF the Senate is already decided.

Ha, ha! A democrat would never drop out of a race.

It's important to have a Republican Senate and House so we don't have a Liberal Supreme Court in the future!

Edwin Edwards dropped out of the governor's race when he ran against Buddy Roemer. It was between Buddy, Edwin and David Duke. Edwin and Buddy made it to the run off....Edwin dropped out.
