We had a couple of people like Massie in our state Senate.
They said literally everything you wanted to hear. They ALWAYS stood on principle, Wrote flowery Facebook post and made grandiose conservative speeches. The red meat crowd would go YEAH!!!!
They also never got anything done. Never worked with anyone, even their own party, attacked other Republicans - conservative ones at that - more than Democrats and were often the only people voting against legislation.
