re: Mexico to reform constitution in wake of US terrorism designations

If Mexico decides to reform their constitution to establish and clarify their sovereignty in order to prevent US action against drug cartels the US has declared to be terrorist organizations, then she needs to shut down the cartels' illegal incursions into the neighboring sovereign nation known as The United States of America, or she needs to be prepared to accept the consequences when the United States determines that the Mexican government, and not the cartels, is responsible for illegal incursions across the border and into our national territory.
She'd damned-well better be very cautious before making such a political move. A widely publicized reform along those lines would make Mexico a belligerent rather than the non-governmental cartels. That could turn out very detrimental to her political longevity.

I don't think I made one post about the cancellation of Romanian elections, only the detention of a candidate a couple days ago.
