I've been operating under the assumption that it's just taking forever to filter down through all the bureaucracy, but we've already had chief (E9, air force) get "fired" for being misleading about being vaxxed with the whole indoor masking thing. It's pretty damn scary up here in DC
Me and my Lt. Had this conversation today, it’s scary everywhere right now in the Air Force my dude.

Here’s a link to the memorandum that was signed on the 24th.
Yep, that was the original one that came out. See there is no date that says you must be vaccinated or have attempted to be by date. Our wing sent out a memo today saying it's mandatory but must go through a scheduling process, blah blah.
That's also the memo that says the vaccine must have recieved "full licensure" from the FDA.

The Chief violated all three core values of the U.S.A.F.
Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do
Thank you for serving this nation and protecting it.

Only the Pfizer one has I believe at this point. Which begs the question, do all the people who got the others have to get the Pfizer now?
You see how this can be a bit confusing for the boots

No way I could have taken the shot if I was still active duty

Well I suppose you could make a point about integrity, as far as I know his only "crime" was just assuming nobody would pull his medical records. Also he's still serving just fine, has a damn good record. I guess integrity in your eyes means licking the balls of whoever is above you.

It's right here my brother.
Mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 will only use COVID-19 vaccines that receive
full licensure from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in accordance with FDA-approved
labeling and guidance. Service members voluntarily immunized with a COVID-19 vaccine
under FDA Emergency Use Authorization or World Health Organization Emergency Use Listing
in accordance with applicable dose requirements prior to, or after, the establishment of this
policy are considered fully vaccinated. Service members who are actively participating in
COVID-19 clinical trials are exempted from mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 until the
trial is complete in order to avoid invalidating such clinical trial results.

Well, integrity includes honesty.
Lying about it kind of took care of that for him.

K guess I'll request the J&J and see what they tell me, or if they keep dragging it out maybe Novavax will be out. Was just wondering if any other active guys had experience with their command giving them negative evals for not running around shouting how they're vaxxed

Yep, the memo goes on to say,
“ Service members are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after completing the second dose of a two-dose CO VID-19 vaccine or two weeks after receiving a single dose of a one-dose vaccine. Those with previous COVID-19 infection are not considered fully vaccinated.”
My next drill is in a few weeks. We got a heads up that ‘vaccinations’ are one of the important items on our agenda. Don’t know if that mean they will be briefing us on the vaccinations, or administering them. Hope to find out more this week. If the are administering them, I’m probably going to search out the J&J. However, few places have it, and most state that you don’t get a choice. What’s up with that?
