How do you take power from the state when you force citizens to give the state more money and put it in charge of the very care that keeps you alive?

Not Bernie Sanders, that’s for sure.

No, you vote for politicians that say they want to end the reason lobbying is a viable strategy.

Can I interest you in Rand Paul 2024?

y'all keep bringing up gun shite and I'll tell ya something

1: bernie is from vermont and has been supportive of the hunters and gun owners of that state for decades

2: I am a gun owner and occasional hunter, and most of the leftists I know own guns for one reason or another

don't go mixing up dem messaging with bernie's, they're not the same. he's not a democrat.

All lobbying? That would effectively kill the unions.

Not Bernie.

Hell, at least Trump has pushed for price transparency.
quote:

As directed by President Trump's Executive Order on Improving Price and Quality Transparency in American Healthcare, today the Department of Health and Human Services is announcing that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is issuing two rules that take historic steps to increase price transparency to empower patients and increase competition among all hospitals, group health plans and health insurance issuers in the individual and group markets. One of the rules is the Calendar Year (CY) 2020 Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) & Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Price Transparency Requirements for Hospitals to Make Standard Charges Public Final Rule. The second rule is the Transparency in Coverage Proposed Rule. Both the final and proposed rules require that pricing information be made publicly available.

If I ever believed a libertarian could get corruption and lobbying (aka corporate bribery) out of american politics, I'd have to give them a long hard look tbh

I know that 99% of this board probably doesn't actually know any bernie supporters IRL, so all they see is the loudmouths on twitter, but a lot of us are reasonable. I want what's best for america, and right now, I think it's bernie.

Bro, you give power to the people by consolidating power in government. You have more freedom when the government takes care of your food, housing, and healthcare.

It is about the most perfect example of a Bernie supporter i've ever seen.

States why they support Bernie. Then every point of detail they make about why they support him, points to the exact reason why he should not be elected.

You’re right. He’s a socialist. The first goal of socialism is to disarm the citizens.

I’m not sure you know the position of where your party is currently on gun control and confiscation.

I would look to VA if you want to know where Democrats currently sit.

You are the same as almost every Bernie supporter i've ever met. Reasonable is not a word I would use to describe any of you.

That you are open to both tells me that you just want something to change, regardless if it is prudent or not. I understand that, but I think you are making a severely misguided mistake in supporting Sanders.

It's like when you ask socialists what happens if someone doesn't want to participate in socialism. Crickets.

it's funny you say that, because 99& of the MAGAtards on this board come across as people who can barely tie there shoes, yet whenever I come across these same types IRL, it's all love

gotta' be the type of person who wants to get along, I reckon. some of y'all don't want any peace or happiness, you just wanna argue

I see. You want to end corporate lobbying. That jibes with your Citizens United comment (the corporate personhood aspect).

You want corporations to be completely subservient to the state. Hmm, I think there’s a term for that.
