Same people who miss Bobby probably miss neocon warhawks like George W. Probably wanted Kasich in 2016. Jindal was a net loss for the state IMO. Dont care for JBE but I can’t say he has been worse than Bobby.

Jindal was great until he decided he wanted to attempt to run for President. Then he started emailing it in while making campaign rounds that amounted to nothing.

His first term was good, second not so much, tend to believe that because of his out of state politicking and leaving others to actually do his work her in LA, which made him a bad governor

First term was productive. Second term he made some mistakes. Super smart and superior to JBE in any scenario.

Jindal should have been awesome. He got in and people started whispering in his ear.

If he’d have stuck with what he started on the guy would be a rockstar.

That and don’t base your budget off $85/barrel oil.

Edit: I don’t know what the frick happened with that guy. I had super high hopes. I’d never been so optimistic and then crushed. What the frick dude. Damn what a disappointment. Absolutely sucked. Made me look bad sucked. And I’m not affiliated.

Jindal appeared weak. There were times he deserved criticism IMO, but he wasn’t enough of a fighter.

I'd go with rampant corruption in the state government. If you're not corrupt yourself why would you want to join the party?

Louisiana "Republicans" are the worst Republicans there are.

The Louisiana Republican Party would have to climb up a couple of rungs to merely be "laughable."

Oh yes. To be clear - JBE is a piece of hot garbage. The State of Louisiana GOP has completely fumbled the governor's office. How did a democrat get elected to that position after the year 2000? Run this unlikable cast of characters: Angelle, Dardenne (RINO), Maness, Vitter.

but the dude was a superstar in a crisis

He was on live on WAFB after Katrina, newsreader asked him a question about some agency, dude whipped out his phone and started getting shite done. Very impressive but he did kinda suck as governor

You must be kidding. This dude would be pontificating on TV and trying to figure out how to leverage this into a Presidential run in 2024.
He ruined the states finances and frankly calls into question conservative Fiscal policy on a practical level. Bad example.

That's because the majority of them used to be Democrats until the political winds changed.
