Cruz is the best choice but he wouldn't get confirmed.

The guy who thinks saying “Christ is king” is hate speech? No thanks. The most based choice would be Andrew Napolitano, but that won’t ever happen because he believes in the constitution exactly as written.
He should have been the pick for SecDef
People have short memories in politics. Republicans might as well have written their own eulogies after 2008, when Democrats had the White House, 60 Senate votes, and a super majority in the House. Then came 2010, which I believe is still the biggest midterm landslide in history. Voters usually punish Democrats for trying to do too much, and they usually punish Republicans for doing too little.

Yeah and Mexico paid for it lol
Good thing no one listens to that fool. Even Democrats admit that his record breaking filibuster last year was just a fundraiser.

What a joke this term has turned out to be. Just a mess.
I’m surprised it’s that high. I miss first term Trump
Trump has always been his own press secretary and it tends to frustrate the people who work in comms because they’re constantly having to correct themselves or do clean up when Trump goes off on a tangent. He’s been a little more restrained this term, probably because he’s older and a little more mellowed.

The reality is that we live in more of a Brave New World than 1984. Things are indeed terrible, and everyone knows it, but we’re comfortable because we have all this technology to amuse us and drugs to make us zombies.

Is Suzie Wiles the one picking these people?

Trump, throughout both terms now, has made terrible cabinet picks. The only thing I’m shocked at is that it took so long for there to start being dysfunction.
The Defense Production Act is literal socialism. The government tells manufacturers what they should make instead of consumers.
I think 1999 was peak America. The internet had just come out, but you still had to go to Blockbuster or Movie Gallery to watch movies
They planned that raid knowing how reckless it was, all because they were facing budget cuts and needed to make a splash.
That was a false flag operation. The U.S. never released any official statement regarding the alleged incident.

Why not just do nothing and allow Iran to eventually develop a delivery system to nuke us and kill 90 million Americans?

You believe this is a possibility when they would be going against the industrial scale beast that is the American military apparatus? Intelligence analysis from both Israel and the U.S. have claimed for decades that Iran doesn’t possess nearly enough, if any, enriched uranium which would be required to build one weapon. They are literally surrounded by U.S. military bases on all sides. Please tell me how they currently or have ever posed such an imminent threat to this country or Israel, for that matter.

What is the problem? Are you calling this Iranian conflict a war?

So you agree with the Obama Administration’s assessment that Libya was not a war, but an “aerial operation”? Because that is verbatim the defense that the Trump administration is using regarding Iran.

Yeah big Trump fan. 3x voter you are But you, don’t lose the argument by trying to convince people you’re a big Trump voter

I don’t need to convince anyone because including primaries, I’ve probably voted for him more than anyone on this board. But to the actual point, if you campaign on no new wars and then launch an all out assault on Iran with obviously no clear plan and when the rationale for attacking doesn’t make sense to critical observers, then yes, I consider that unnecessary.

Poor Dylan. I bet you liked it better when it cost you almost $4 per gallon and climbing and the people spearheading the administration were telling you it was transitory and due to Putins price hike and would be coming down in no time Good times back then. Except for the fact that it wasn’t just gas is was everything from eggs to gas going up 9% at that point. I bet you were squealing then too weren’t you?

When your defense of pretty insane policies is “pAnIcAn” or “yeah but under Biden”, you’ve lost the argument. My last vote for Trump in 2024 was in part due to policies that exploded the cost of living under Biden-Harris. To see Trump get into office and do things that are unnecessary and that make the cost of living more expensive, it’s crazy. To add insult to injury, the President either says high prices are worth it or that there is no cost of living crisis.
