There’s no evidence that Iran was close to making even one nuclear weapon. The CIA has said this and weapons inspectors have said this for decades. Iran is a third world country with a third rate military, surrounded by U.S. military bases at every corner. The threat they pose to anyone is virtually nonexistent. These people couldn’t even defend themselves or respond in any way to a bioweapons attack from Iraq.

Lindsey should read Reagan’s diaries, which are public, where he specifically talked about how sending in troops to Beirut was the worst mistake of his presidency. Reagan admitted and learned from this that the U.S. did not understand Middle Eastern politics.

Israel definitely, seeing as how it wouldn’t exist without the UN anyway. Another misguided regime change operation in the Middle East is sure to have serious blowback for us in this country, it’s just a matter of time.
