It's true when the candidate is qualified, a conservative and has common sense.
Nah, I'd vote for the ghost of Kip Holden right now. He earned my votes when he ran.

The black population of Louisiana has historically been underserved and used by white Democrats.
That fact has been pointed out to them umpteen times over the years, but it hasn’t affected their voting habits.

How did Obama get elected twice?
White guilt and the thought of racial harmony. Every white person that voted for Obama is basically a sucker.

But white Republicans will vote for a black candidate.
That's mostly because Republicans vote on merit not skin color.

Larry Elder has two black parents.
No White Democrats voted for him.
Obama is mixed.
So he's kind of right looking at it like that.

So how the hell did the first mixed race POTUS Obama get in office?

Still, I am skeptical of any political moves in Louisiana to disenfranchise one group to enfranchise another group that is proportionally already well represented.
Disenfranchise?
Prohibiting districts drawn by factors of race does not disenfranchise anyone as ALL registered voters still get to cast their vote.
When you draw districts on race lines, do you not realize that- by your own definition- the white voters in that racial district are "disenfranchised"?
I guess it's okay to dilute the vote of a white person... and artificially strengthen the vote of the non-white citizen.
Racism is a-friggin-ok... as long as it benefits the black person, amiright?

I think the title is sarcasm because democrats say white wont vote for blacks.
And Larry is saying you are right, white democrats didn't vote for me and I'm black.

Not a fan of the redistricting wars, but this allegation is absurdly easy to dismiss. Obama carried Iowa twice, by 10 pts and 6 pts, respectively. Any way you shake the demographics by race & party, white dems voted for a black guy twice, in big numbers.

How the hell do they think Obama won twice? Black voters?
