what was the original deal?

May 1st and special forces backup Afghan forces. It was just an incremental step but a larger one to eventual total withdrawal.

Instead the Afghan forces received a message of a later date and you are on your own.

This is a failure of Bush, Obama, Trump, and Biden, in that order.

If Trump's deal was this bad then the leader of the free world should have stepped in at some point over the last 8 months of power and changed it.
biden should not have honored the deal, he fricked that up, and unlike any of you Im totally fine admitting something like that. no one thinks this is going great. sucks that we coudlnt dig ourselves out of the hole you put us in.

We could have 6 straight 2-term Democrat Presidents and somehow they'll still blame Trump for shite that happens on their watch.

Remember when they gave Obama ALL the credit for the first two years of Trumps economy?

Biden had 8 months to make the withdrawal plan better and adapt to changing circumstances. He didn’t.

These are only plans too. Sometimes plans change. You really believe this would’ve happened under Trump? He would have changed plans to avoid disaster and the media would be apologetic about not immediately withdrawing.

He didn't.

And I never stated Trump's deal would have worked perfectly. But we DO know that Biden changed the deal. And we DO know the current deal led to this shitshow.

We do NOT know how Trump's deal would have played out.

Biden is the current CIC. This is a Biden failure. By the way, why not one sign of Biden, Harris or their spokespersons? If it ain't their fault, why are they hiding?

Biden will blame Trump because he knows his base will eat it up because they are brainwashed morons.

It happened on his watch - he gets the blame

I would have to think if we were not in Afghanistan to begin with that we would not be having this conversation now.

I’m glad we are out but it probably could have been handled better.

Yeah, people like him make me ashamed to be a lifelong resident of the state of Georgia. For the first time in my life I'm seriously considering moving

8, 8, 4, 9+

Those numbers represent the number of years each of those held a position that had direct impact on foreign relations over that given timeframe.
