Eh, it's none of our business what goes on over there. The days of the US policing the world are over. We are 18 trillion in debt and can't afford it and are a superpower in our own mind. We have no moral authority anymore anyway based on our two faced foreign policy dealings over the past 35 years, mostly at the behest of your beloved Republican presidents. And our illegal, bullshite invasion of Iraq.

I don't have a problem with him not being in the meeting as long as he was given a briefing and overview about it later. The President does not have to attend every brainstorming session at the NSC or other similar body. Its not needed.

I find it odd that Obama has a history of missing rather important briefings. Is that common for Presidents, because I don't really recall the media reporting it in the past.
