Even assuming abortion is a right (which I most certainly do not) I cannot imagine any American prioritizing abortion on demand up to birth over the right to speak freely, the right to assemble, the right to worship, the right to keep and bear arms, the right to be free from government searches, the right to private property, the right to a free and fair trial.
I just can’t.
No matter what side of the debate you’re on. If your a baby sacrificer or a hardcore prolifer - I just cannot understand choosing states regulating abortion (either by limiting it or just permitting unfettered rights to it) - over the right to be a truly free person.
That said. It is truly and completely distasteful that there’s an abortion taco truck outside their convention, a gigantic inflatable IUD and a whole night swearing fealty to abortions as if it were a rite of passage or a point of pride. It is truly and completely grotesque to me.
The entire Democrat party lacks any inkling of a sense of dignity.
I just can’t.
