So why does POTUS use this kind of language? He's trolling his critics and giving blow jobs to many who don't know the difference. Essentially, he is stuck in political purgatory whereby some of his policies may be working, but because of behavior like this, many, if not the majority, cannot stand the MFer and his approval ratings show this. If he isn't attacking he is groveling for approval in front of a friendly audience. Real leadership makes people want to follow. Trump's ego makes that impossible because everything is about him. Its pretty much why I can't stand him. Its less about his policy and more about the person. He creates his own minefields and one day karma will smack him down. It never fails.

You shouldn't take hyperboles seriously. You should take his campaign promises seriously, though, considering he's working towards keeping most all of them - tax cuts, immigration reform and a border wall, ending the Obamacare individual mandate, cutting UN funding, etc.

I saw the speech, real time. The article is as most from Big Media, very misleading.
It was members of the audience, workers from the plant he was visiting that apparently are waking up to the fact that Dems have been lying to them for decades, workers that realize Dems don't care about their well being.
It was those members of the audience that used the word "Treason" to describe the actions of Dems.
President Trump was responding to the audience.
