I think it’s an intelligence issue, I saw a clip from Africa a few months ago where the locals were tearing up their road so they could stop cars and I guess extort the people passing through.
There’s no appreciation of what a functional road could do for them, or the idea of perhaps win win scenarios. That’s the biggest issue. It takes a certain level of average intelligence for society to work together, and for people to understand that wealth isn’t fixed, and that everyone could be better off collectively.
We’re smarter presumably for environmental reasons, because of our hunter gather ancestry, and because of the selective pressure of cold weather. We are global minority though, in absolute terms, and you could wipe us off the map with large scale immigration.
Robert Reich studies ancient genetics, he’s written that there was a period of mixing when the Yamnaya invade India, but then it stops suddenly, and never resumes. What he’s describing is the creation of the caste system, from his perspective, it was an attempt to preserve what made them different, and exceptional compared to the people of the subcontinent. Europeans, according to his studies, are a mixture of the Yamnaya, hunter gatherers, and Anatolian Farmers. I do think there’s a high level lesson here, the reason the US has been successful, and why Central and South America have been so dysfunctional, is genetics. And what makes us unusual is our intelligence but also how we’re wired for empathy.
With sufficient immigration we would turn into India or Mexico, and that would be a crime.

Yep.
I have always said us white folks are amazing when were hungry and motivated. But when we have "arrived" we become soft and destroy what was built.
If we would stop coddling drug users, they would fade away and their bloodlines would die out.
Instead we do everything we can to keep them alive. We have to become comfortable with natural selectin again in order to thrive.

But Mexico was a hellhole before the Cartels emerged
Mexico does have a geography problem, which makes it harder for them, but it’s ultimately a people problem.

Drug use is a good way to measure misery in a society.
As society collapses, drug use increases, as people medicate their way through the situation. The opioid epidemic was two things for example, the consequence of the willful destruction of the white working class, and an expression of the Sacklers hatred.
