Here is your legit conversation.
1. Enjoy your kid’s education watered down to the burden of public schools having to take on the task of educating non English speaking students.
2. Enjoy your healthcare and insurance premiums with hospitals taking in non-insured persons who use ER for sniffles.
3. Enjoy your criminal justice system with people who have already ignored one law (legal immigration) to be here and who knows what other laws they will choose to follow.

I see you want to talk in terms of semantics with "open and closed".
So let's use other parlance.
We will use the term "secure". The definition of Secure in this context is substantially more illegal immigrants coming across the border than the numbers that came across from 2016-2020.
Or, if you'd like, "not secure" would be substantially more numbers than our current immigration system can handle and account for?
Is the Southern Border currently Secure, given these parameters?
