Pay above the prevailing wage, and actually train their employees and hold them to a standard. Has nothing to do with political affiliation. What a sad existence
It's all about not penny pinching through normal corporate chainsaw cost cutting:
1. Chick Fil-A intentionally overstaffs so employees can calmly do their jobs instead of cutting costs with the absolute bare minimum employees.
2. They invest extra in having a personal trainer responsible for new employees.
3. That they attempt to keep the environment low stress from a managerial level simply means people want to work there more than other places and so they can be more selective hiring and the better vibes spread.

Come to the one in ellick I think you’ll be unpleasantly surprised.
Easily the worst CFA I have ever been to. It’s not even close.
that's due to the available workforce. every restaurant in that macarthur drive area struggles to find help. you have to take what you can get.

B/c they value customer service more than any other company in the industry and they are consistent in emphasizing their core values.

It doesn’t have anything to do with “whatever it is you’re trying to say here”.
It has everything to do with being efficient and understanding that us customers would rather buy food from people who don’t act like they have complete contempt towards us simply for ordering a #1.

The chick fil a by my house is staffed with almost 100% black and Mexicans, it’s just as efficient as any chick fil a I’ve ever been in (most of which are staffed with a high percentage of minorities)

Store environment is prioritized. They will over staff to make sure they have a quick and reactive public interaction.
They have clean and safe stores which opens them up to more young applicants.
Was a few years back when my daughters were looking for a high school job. CFA was one of only a handful of jobs I would allow them to apply at due to safety.
Exactly. It's kinda chicken/egg with CFA. Respectable HS students have zero desire to work with awful coworkers, which most other FF places are staffed with.

Are they? I wouldn't know cause they're all the way on the other end of town and always have long lines. I'm not putting up with all that just for a chicken sandwich.

Have a friend that wanted to become a franchise owner in my home town. After applying he went through 2 years of interviews, back ground checks, financial checks etc. Chic Fil A people interviewed everyone in his family (immediate family along with distant family members), his friends, banker, pastor, care provider, dentist, etc.. They do not want anyone that does not share their values having any part of their business. The people that they approve to become franchise owners will run the business and hire employees that will provide a restaurant that will be up to their standards (no exceptions).

the owner/operator is required to be present. they also limit the number of restaurants one person can own/operate
I am surprised it took most of the first page to get to this.
Requiring the franchise owner on site and limiting them to 1 or 2 restaurants is by far the largest factor. Things like the limited menu, training, pay scale, etc are the factors that amplify the effectiveness of the first one.
You can get excellent people to work for you, but nobody will ever be invested like an owner.

I know a guy that didn’t go to college (went to seminary actually and his dad is a preacher too) that worked at chick fil a in high school and still works there as a GM like 30 years later because the pay is actually good
I'm surprised you claim him considering your stance that anyone not attending college isn't worth oxygen.
