Agreed, but I do think there is an isolationist faction of Trump supporters who don't like neocon meddling and are put off by moves like this. We'll see where it goes. It's possible the Bolton gang got to Trump.
I'm one of those, and fully support retaliatory strikes such as this one. Trump has utilized our superior firepower better than any President I can remember.

That’s a big negative. If he would have done this after Benghazi I would have been all on his nuts.

Yeah they completely bungled that entire situation and made America look weak.

I'm not pretending. It simply isn't true.

How many Trump supporters were congratulating Obama for throwing the Benghazi victims under the Bus. Is the Film producer still in prison?
You clowns are never serious or consistent.
Huh? This makes no sense.

I'm sure if Obama did this, most of this board would be melting down too.
Not me. I would be thankful that he did it but I would also know that it wasn't his decision. He would have been talked into it. With Trump, I believe he led the charge and therefore give him high praise for having the balls to do it.

You are pretending.

Not a bit. I'm not sure how you could possibly think the people who were outraged by the lack of response to Benghazi would have been against a response to Benghazi. Truly the stupidest of stupid takes.

Easy enough.
That isn't what I said.
That isn't what I said.

This really isn't true. When Obama ordered the attack on OBL, I praised him.
When Trump takes out an equally or perhaps even worse guy, I praise him.
This is consistency. It is a good feeling.
I give Trump more credit because he knew people would be second guessing him. No one would second guess Obama.
Trump did something that should have been done. He did it. There are more political risks for him doing that than not doing it.
He did what should have been done. He knows he will get no credit for it. The only thing that can come from this is grief for Trump. Yet it should have been done and he did it.
That is fortitude.

Obama made 194 drone strikes and he got very little kickback from the right for the vast majority of them.
Posted on 1/3/20 at 5:41 pm to RockyMtnTigerWDE
Most of you didn't even know they were happening, and that likely includes you. Quite a coincidence that this talking point has been brought up.

"I'm sure he had info that forced him to make that decision", including the majority of the anti-Obama people.

If only there were a way on this website to search for threads when Obama took out Bin Laden to compare/contrast
I’ll save you the effort. It’s about the only time this board appreciates anything that guy did. So back to the drawing board.

This dude still wasn't bin Laden. You won't force that.

A goat fricking terrorist is a goat fricking terrorist. If one was Jordan and the other was Pippen, I’m glad they are All Stars on Team Allah now.

Cool, but this isn't a Jordan and Pippen comparison. Brady and Leaf would be more accurate.
