This question, is brought to you by DEI. Prior to DEI, no one really had to ask, outside of hiring quotas or affirmative action, which was pre-DEI. But, when you tards started using the term DEI, you planted the seeds of doubt in every position.
So while there are many minorities that are hired based on merit, the mere creation of DEI was to eliminate merit thus, you created the distrust and created the question, "was this person hired on merit or are they a DEI hire."
