Man has always sought to insert his rules and restrictions between himself and the God, when the only way is through Christ.
Catholic Church and the Pope is literally a wolf in sheep’s clothing. A path that leads to destruction. No church or man will ever be able to do anything for you “in that day”. The “Church” is a function and byproduct of man own will- trying to create a system of good works and teachings that will lead you to salvation. The truth is, there is only but one way. Through Christ.
Anything else is a falsehood. Go to the cross, submit your life to him and his will. You will find rest.
And now if you read this, you have been told the truth. And will forever be accountable. If you read this, the Lord probably ordained and purposed you to read it. It’s no accident.

Looks to me like he was trying to defend himself or at least stop the woman from jerking his arm. I don’t think he should apologize for anything.
