Why are people pretending to care that our president is MIA? That's the question?
Who said he is MIA? He has been in Delaware since the end of last week.
He routinely goes a while without public appearances and has since the 2020 campaign. Are you particularly concerned for any reason?

This isn't the average Biden absence. This one is weird. He should have been on live TV yesterday.

They’re probably trying to figure out the best way to break the news to Biden that he dropped out without him going crazy
Honestly, he may not know he’s been dumped.
They may have re-runs of the 2020 election news coverage running on tv, and he’s watching it while eating a pudding cup.
He hasn’t had a Cabinet meeting since last October, not like he’s missing anything happening around him.

Does he routinely decline the party’s nomination for a second term and announce it on X with no follow-up? Can you at least admit this is a bit strange considering the gravity of his announcement? And the fact WH staff knew a minute before or when they got the alert on X?

I'm concerned about who is running our country in the middle of a couple extremely dangerous global conflicts.
I'm concerned the sitting president was pushed out against his will and possibly put in danger to make it happen.
I'm concerned how flippant the party saving democracy seems to be about the rights of the citizens.
Maybe you don't give a shite, but to condescend people who do is absolutely ludicrous.

Trump needs to go live and demand proof that Biden is ok, saying he is concerned for the man. Would be a smart move.
I rarely believe conspiracy theories but, this one... he may not be in control of himself, I'll put it that way

What about his tenure office would lead you to believe that they'd put on some sort of ad hoc press event?
It hasn't even been 24 hours. Do you really need him to be on TV for some reason? Or is this now also a conspiracy?

Not only that...
The person they have chosen has never won a single primary. Not a single delegate. She dropped out before Iowa.
That is not democracy

It's absolutely amazing that there are no leaks and/or the puppet media is scared to report the real situation.

I've had that concern since January of 2021.

No one has the right to choose who the Democratic Party nominates as its candidate for President. No one who voted for Joe Biden is up in arms about it, only Republicans parroting it, and it won't stick. That attempted talking point is pure silliness.

I just find the faux-concern to be weird.

Bro, it is EXTREMELY odd that the President of the United States, a man that has been in politics for 50 years, that up until a few days ago was defiantly saying he was running, sends out a tweet with a letter, not on Presidential Letterhead, with a signature that is oddly dissimilar to his own, saying he isn't running. A watershed moment in modern American Politics.
And its a tweet. That's it.
Its bizarre he hasn't addressed the nation immediately unless he is doing very poorly.

Like...Why hasn't the Speaker of the House immediately flown to Delaware to meet with him and see what the hell is going on?
This is all so freaking weird

They are turning an attempted assassination against a former president and a likely coup against a sitting president like "just one of those things."
Posted on 7/22/24 at 1:16 pm to Indefatigable
He did live TV for the assassination attempt on Trump. It was one of those moments when the country must hear from him. The same is also true of him deciding not to run for a second term. These are events that will be in history books. The POTUS should not just chill in his beach house without letting the country hear directly from him.

Yes, Republicans, the only people parroting this talking point, desperately need to hear from the President in this hour of history.
