Neither are good which is why a true third party is needed

It’s not about a need. 3rd parties are a waste of a vote.

Maybe now but hopefully not in the future, hopefully they can create a true third party that hates government spending and hates the back and forth of two entities that claim to want different things but vote for themselves.

Voting for a 3rd party does far more to hurt than help. It is pointless and stupid.

Wrong.

The period between 1992 and 2000 when republicans decided to give Clinton the election by not voting for Perot, we had the most conservative government in recent history.

It was of course the republicans who ruined this by allowing neocons to take over the party in 2000(to be fair, they pretended to be conservatives like 2024, I feel for it) as they started crazy spending with all the bullshite wars.

And that is also what lead to Obama and everything else.

So I'll tell you what the frick hurts - voting for shitty arse neocons.

Enjoy minor successes while you can.
The election will bring a cold splash of reality on the hopes of another Trum term. There is no realistic path.

Whatever you think,
but she will end up in the White House with a majority maintained in the Senate and a new Democratic majority in the House… Lots of melting ensues.

Trump will never sniff the White House again. Guaranteed.

And I also know that Musk built his business empire (Tesla, SpaceX, Solar City, etc…) sucking on the government tit. I don’t suddenly envision Musk as some sort of small government savior simply because he has harshly criticized Trump’s BBB.

So many people choose to ignore this about Musk. He is smart, smart at gaming the government for subsidies. He’s just pissed because the BBB doesn’t have big time subsidies for his companies. He’s been a liberal for most of his life, voting for Biden and Obama before that.

Democrats thank you for your support.

Hard to say. This could siphon off a lot of people, like me, who vote Democrat because we don't like Trump, but don't like the left wing of the Democratic party either. The Democratic party really needs to split into a centrist wing and a DSA/Woke wing anyway, as Carville said recently Link to Carville going off on Ilhan Omar

I'm not sure Elon's effort will do that--he doesn't have great political instincts and he's been acting erratically lately--but I'll be watching with interest.

Yea it’s people like you who should abstain. Vote for ideas or policies or don’t vote at all. Voting for a person you like more is ignorant and can do massive harm.

"Don't like" is polite shorthand for a whole lot of things I find dangerous and corrupt about the man.

Tesla’s trumpeted solar shingles are a flop: Tesla’s $1 billion solar gigafactory in Buffalo, New York, which the state built, subsidized, and equipped for SolarCity, seems to be primarily operating as a Panasonic plant….

Musk is a brilliant and extremely complicated man and I certainly admire many aspects of what Musk has accomplished. Yet many of Musk’s political convictions are often contradictory in nature, to say the least.
