Putin won't fight a war with NATO for the reasons posted, which just goes to show how stupid the "well if we keep helping Ukraine Putin will start WWIII" narrative is.

He hasn’t yet.

There is pretty much no chance that Russia could win a protracted war with NATO, nuclear or conventional.

They have been fighting a Ukrainian army that has been funded and supplied by NATO since 2014. Intelligence, Planning, Logistics,Weapons,Armor, Ammunition. Everything but soldiers which Europe doesn't have besides special forces. I am actually shocked Russia lasted 3 years especially considering the Sanctions. This was a big L for NATO

They don’t have anything approaching top line NATO equipment in any numbers. No one sent or is sending their current models of anything.

Sure, they got some mothballed base model tanks/vehicles and aircraft. But pretty much everything send was surplus or already being replaced by the nation sending it.

Putin doesn’t have the money or resources to go all in against Europe. There’s too much money to be made selling them oil.
