After seeing how they have laid down since Biden got elected .. yep. They suck and are part of the problem.

The way to fix the Republican party is to kill it and then repurpose the corpse into something better.

Well, they complain - but they don't offer any solutions.

Just like ObamaCare - they hated it (as did I) but then when they got the opportunity to do something about it, they brought nothing to the table.

They suck.

left January 8th after many Rs blamed Trump for January 6th and refused to standby the President. Decided I was a man without a Party.

I'm not real sure how to respond to this but I think the ball was to big to fit in the basket. What's the point if the basket is rigged to begin with?

Clearly shenanigans. After all the balls are too big to fit in Jennifer Love Hewitt's mouth.

I left the GOP before the election last year. I couldn’t stand to be part of a party who prefers to be a vocal minority instead of being the party in charge. The GOP is basically a bunch of people who prefer to biotch about a problem instead of doing something to try and fix it.

I've heard people say this for years, but I've yet to see anyone able to point to any evidence of the possible success of this strategy. I guess there's always hope, but it seems hard to find anything to actually be optimistic about with regard to this strategy, versus trying to back the republicans who will most advance the ideals I'm looking to see advanced.

I certainly don't think my strategy is a perfect (I'm not typically one who thinks there is such), but I see more results doing that than anything else I've seen anyone propose.

As a Republican, I am frustrated with party leadership (or lack of it), but am committed to doing what I can to be a more informed voter in order to support and make better choices. I see this as the only viable solution to purge the party of these RINO’s and left leaners that are simply playing a role in the political theatre of D.C.

Going independent or going libertarian avoids meaningful contribution to election outcomes and candidate accountability. If we had viable third parties, that would be a different story, but there are only two horses really in this race - them or us.

In my state I can only vote in the primary for the party in which I'm registered. I need to be able to vote for Trump in the primary and then I will switch to unaffiliated/independent. I was that for years and switched to Republican solely to be able to vote in a primary for a local election in which a friend was running.

Unless the establishment Republicans see true personal consequences for their actions, nothing will change. Voting Republican enables and validates those people and I want no part of it.

In my district, the chances of a Republican making the general election is minimal anyway so it doesn't matter.

The uniparty is basically the lower leg bones of a human body.

The Democrat Party is the Tibia.

The Republican Party is the Fibula.

Break either one and you are unable to walk.

The Fibula is much weaker and more difficult to repair.

I've seen a few elected Republicans push back against "establishment Republicans." I haven't really seen anyone else get elected (who shares my values and philosophy) and do so. I understand and more than likely share most of your frustrations. I just have a hard time seeing your strategy getting me what I want - not that mine is getting me much of it, but I can still get a glimmer here and there.
