I would be embarrassed to admit a traitor like Dardenne was my preferred candidate if I was a conservative.
I donated from out of state, too. I’m not even a Louisiana voter. I’ll be voting in Louisiana this time around. Hope LAGOP doesn’t take my vote for granted.

This is the correct answer. We had a massive influx of FEMA cash, $100 per barrel oils prices, and a totally Republican controlled legislature under him. Legit cuts and common sense processes that woukd better organized governmental structure would have had a lasting impression. Instead, we kicked the can down the road so he could look good for his presidential run. I voted for him twice. As for JBE, I didn't vote for him, but he did inherit a mess. Unfortunately, since he is s tax and spend Democrat, his "clean up" process has been needlessly extra painful. It seems as though we went from a Narcissistic genius to a super shady "Honor" code based wolf in sheep's clothing. Good times in Louisiana. Dumb and dumber in action.

You can't criticize JBE without his backers playing the Jindal card, but JBE has served for almost three years now, and he has his own record to run on.
The way I look at it Jundal fail to initiate reforms to our tax code, and to make necessary cuts to unnecessary programs. But he did not raise our taxes.
JBE also failed to make necessary cuts, and instead he added to government. More importantly, JBE pushed through an enormous tax increase.
He did all that when folks were trying to push through a massive downturn in the oil patch and a statewide recession.
It is easy to see why Edwards backers play the Jindal card so much, they have no other real options.

Meanwhile Governor Honor Code is vacationing with a giant entourage on our nickel in the Middle East trying to attract business while doing everything in his power to send every single potential Gulf Coast petrochemical project to Texas.
