B) Of course he is, you ask any knowledgeable American who their top 3 constitutional law scholars are and AD will be on everyon'e list somewhere. If not at the top
I'm guessing I know more appellate lawyers than you and I doubt anyone I know would name him #1. I'm biased because I don't know many folks in criminal appeals, but needless to say, Dershowitz is not "almost universally believed to be" America's preeminent con law expert. If you're judging this on who the American public believes is the top con law expert, you're still wrong, but Dershowitz has some name recognition so you may be slightly less wrong than you would be otherwise.

C) It's completely relevant, as you are acting as if it is some bizzre claim to make when in fact it is not, LOTS of legal minds think Trump has been denied his civil rights in this whole bizarre situation.
It's not relevant. My point had nothing to do with Trump or what people are doing to Trump. It has everything to do with how religious leaders seemingly care more about promoting and defending Trump than using TV time to talk about Christianity.

Moore met the mother and daughter outside of a child custody hearing. So pretty good odds that "Pop" wasn't around and that the girl would be home alone at some point.
You've contemplated such a scenario/plan, before, I see.

I worry about what a Republican Party looks like when you replace Christian morality with cynical nihilism.
This is freakin grand!!
Libs before; All you Christians do is push your morality down our throats!! Just quit already!!
Libs now; How dare y'all vote for someone without any moral convictions according to what a woman said 38 years ago.
Oh the humanity!!

should have stopped at the first point

Is that not what he just said? As a lib he's worried about the Republican party's morality?

Of course it's already been said but if this actually happened it would have come out years ago when you live a high profile life like Roy Moore. He's held major offices before. The alleged victim wouldn't hold this in their back pocket on the off chance Roy Moore ran for US Senate one day at age 70. It would have come out when he was Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. Or when he ran for governor.

Did you apply this same logic to harvey weinstein accusers?
Posted on 11/9/17 at 4:09 pm to LandofDixie
So Moore is guilty. Just like that; because you want him to be.
No investigation. No due process.
It's Roy Moore, so it must be true.
A real moral observation.

I would just leave it at liberals using a faith they've consistently bashed to bolster their political opinions. You don't need to tie the circumstances of the Moore accusation in to make your argument, and I think it's actually better without doing that.
That 38 year old accusation could be totally true, in which case, it's now undermined your point.

The Weinstein accusers had their jobs and careers to think about due to the pressure the Hollywood elites and leftists put on them to not come out about their abuse.

I wasn't aware Harvey Weinstein had an election coming up a few weeks after the accusations started flying.

Or until WaPo reporters came to your rural area and started pressing you for details?

Hillary dicking around with Russia, blames Trump
Dems caught being sexual deviants, blame a Republican up for election of same thing
Seems to be a pattern. Makes you think

I realize that was probably an overly thought out critique of what was essentially a legit argument, so sorry

I'm jumping into this way too late, and this issue isn't particular to Roy Moore, but of a number of these cases.
Moore has run for elections, what? 15 times now? Has been the topic of national and regional/state scrutiny on an annual basis...makes the runoff and 4 weeks before the election someone calls him out for an allegation from 40 years ago?
He very well may have done this, but the timing is so convenient its got to be scrutinized (e.g. did she get paid to release the story?)

And if this one doesn't stick, they'll find more and more, willing to lie for political power.
Dems are shameless pieces of shite.

Odd that WaPO reporters would zero in on this particular woman. And to what purpose?

How would the WaPo reporters even know to come snooping?

I think it's totally reasonable to ask for details about how they got wind of her story and honed in on it. I think the article is fairly well written in describing how they contacted and interviewed her, but it's a fair question
