People have a right to place others under citizens arrest and detain them to the police come along.

This is not true. Trying to bolt wouldn't entail grabbing someone else's gun and trying to wrestle it away.

They’re the ones who called the cops. They were following him until they got there, until he started swinging haymakers and trying to take their weapon.

Didn't these guys get arrested and charged anyways? So justice worked right? People get killed all the time, I don't get the big deal.

Of all the black guys that got unnecessarily murdered by racist white rednecks last year, this guy was the one. No fricking excuse whatsoever

This is the correct, albeit unpopular answer

You should worry more about your son's new dad.

I’ve seen the video a dozen times. If I’m on the jury the third guy might get some leeway. The shooter and his dad need to go to prison. I doesn’t matter if he was jogging or running away from having cased a home. Not their job.

I like how you say in your bio “ you get what you pay for “ and then claim this crap . The thief was not not out for a jog . They literally show that . Did he deserve to die , I don’t know as I wasn’t there were you ? But I guess when he was out doing thief stuff “he got what he paid for “ .

First off, I am not trying to levy any judgment on whether it was right or wrong he got shot. I am trying to figure out why places like Atlanta Track Club and other such running organizations are doing this run with Aumaud thing like a guy on a jog was shot to death for doing nothing other than running.

I can totally understand it if an avid runner active in the running community was shot and killed while on a training run or something, but far as I can tell, this guy was not part of any running clubs nor did he compete in any events and he doesn’t even appear to have been out for a run at all on that day. It seems as though these running clubs, of whom I am a part of, are seeking to link themselves with a potential injustice where a link really doesn’t seem to exist and it’s a little annoying that organizations like this are trying to desperately align themselves in this “systemic racism” issue.

For instance, the Instagram post said yesterday “Today let’s all run 2.23 miles for Ahmaud to continue his fight against systemic racism...” with about 100 comments from white women cheering this on. It’s an incapsulation of suburban white housewife guilt. I see it as nothing more and I don’t think it’s anything other than a bunch of people finding a place to virtue signal however misplaced it appears it is.

Fake news, he didn't try to run. He tried to take the dude head on. He didn't try to run until after he was shot.

He was trying to run from three armed men in two vehicles on two different streets. They blocked his route with their vehicles on at least two different occasions. The last time they blocked him in the shooter excited his vehicle and raised his gun towards him as he ran towards him. He then veered to the right and attempted to pass on the passenger side of the vehicle. The shooter then came around the front end of the truck with his gun and that’s when the altercation took place.

Don’t try to make it sound like he wasn’t trying to get away from these racist fricks.

Three 300-pound rednecks with firearms have been chasing your gimlet arse through the subdivision, and you think the smart move is to surrender into the custody of these nutcases?

James Byrd would disagree, but ....

JFC.

The redneck with the gun was in the street on the DRIVER side of the truck, so Aubery tried to go around the PASSENGER side. Cousin Cletus moved around the front of the truck to INTERCEPT him.

Have you BOTHERED to watch the video, or just read the articles in Epoch Times and Gateway Pundit?

Good Lord. Again, he ran AROUND the right side of the truck to avoid Cletus. Cletus affirmatively tried to intercept him in front of the truck.

If you watch the video and are honest, you will admit at least that.

Is this sort of like an obstacle course run? Run a little bit, break into a house in the middle of the night that is under construction, run some more?

They just perpetuate these lies. Arbery was robbing a construction site. Just like Mike Brown never had his hands up saying don't shoot. Black lives matters is nothing but a bunch of liars.
