So, they ran their mouth and then, once in office, they realized the evidence that would put down the deep state isn't actually in the available files. Now what do you expect them to do? The emotional crowd is certain that the files will bring down a plethora of uniparty politicians, so they won't accept that the actual evidence is gone. This leads to the only way to satiate their desire being a release of fabricated files.
If it's true, though, then not releasing the doctored files is the right move, and certain people will just have to deal with it by complaining on internet message boards.
It seems a large contingent of this board would prefer the Trump admin to release falsified documents simply for the emotional catharsis, despite the damage to innocent people or the fact that it would not be a real resolution to the matter.
People want to be placated more than they want the truth.
The OP nailed the rational argument in this whole episode. Epstein is important, but it's not the only topic as many act like it is.
