I'll ask you again, because you avoided the question...

As a republican, flip your comment around... does that make ANY sense as an american?

If so, then you need to wake up. You have been shown in this thread the goals that was entered into congressional record as a warning by a dem.

You are being shown KGB words. The stages. Yet here you are trying to burn down the one guy who is non of the above.

This American issue goes back to a different tactic used by the KGB and latched onto by the left.

It's pretty self explanatory that internal threats are our greatest threats.

Agreed. Traitors like Manning and Snowden did much more damage than Russia ever likely will.

It wasn't my comment

But. The hard left is VERY and OPENLY anti American

And. Its self explanatory that the U.S. is more at risk do to internal threats than external

I mean. Do i have to link you to the openly anti American left?

Well, you're not new here. Are you just getting back into politics or something?

Ya man, something like that. I've got a family that takes up most of my time and politics just hasn't been a priority outside of casting my vote.

I actually dumped cable several years ago so I'm not getting the constant news feed most are.

I've still lurked here for years. But, this week has pulled me back in... I'm troubled about the way i see this place being almost apologetic for Putin.

The last thing we want is to be OK with how he runs his government.

I don't give a crap who started what or when... just stop its progression and, as americans, lets oppose letting them in any more.

In fact. I vigorously oppose the people in America who prefer policies that only 50 years ago, the KGB was paid to defend.

No American I've known in my ENTIRE life would defend Putin/Russia this way.

Guys - it's easy... always has been, and still is, unless you can convince me Putin has drastically changed recently.
Russia = Bad

We shouldn't trust them.

Has anyone here ever had a conversation with another American ... in REAL life ... where Russia was discussed in anything but a negative light?

This is really deep stuff, bro.

Personally I'm a big Russia guy. It's a fascinating place. Would like to walk across it one day.

As for Putin, have you heard him speak lately? He makes more sense than anyone in European leadership.

First, as to your personal attack--I have NEVER lied. I have occasionally been mistaken, but I do not lie on this forum . I am brutally fricking honest, even when it's unflattering to me. Can you say the same? Do you think this board thinks you are as honest as me? Wanna ask them?

Second, as to the substantive argument ---The only "Putin dickriding" I have seen has never been an agreement with Russian policy goals or a desire to see Putin prevail or Russia expand it's influence. It's been more of an admiration for his more masculine approach to governing, at a time when the US was led by an effete, Mom-pants-wearing faculty-lounger. The contrast was startling and disheartening for those of us who sat here and watched President Dreamy McMompants cave to Putin on Crimea, Georgia, Syria, Uranium deals etc. We just wanted our guy to push back rather than lube up. Alas....

He is the liar. You are not. I overlooked his flame towards you; only because, that's just what he does when he is overwhelmed and can't back his opinions and ideals.

What are you not getting? Nobody here likes Putin. We all make fun of the people showing up now because of Trump blaming russians when in fact you are still doing the same damn things that got us here.

Your alarm sounding is either self serving because you don't like Trump, or you are way late to the game (by about 50 years).

If it's the later, the educate yourself with the links provided.

But, I have to point out what the KGB agent stated:

quote:

As I mentioned before exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures. Even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him concentration camp he will refuse to believe it until he is going to receive a kick in his fat bottom. When the military boot crashes his, then he will understand, but not before that. That’s the tragic of the situation of demoralization.

quote:

This is what will happen in the United States if you allow all the schmucks to bring the country to crisis, to promise people all kind of goodies and the paradise on Earth, to destabilize your economy, to eliminate the principle of free market competition and to put big brother government in Washington DC
