Oh, damn, you’re serous?

Let’s address your retardedly retarded OP:

quote:

The Saudis are a regional power, they have a strong military (relative to rest of the world)

They’ve lost to Yemen and the Houthis and have never won, nor even participated in, a regional war. The have money to buy our nice shite, but have no actual military to operate it to any degree of competency.

quote:

and they are a traditional/conservative culture.

Islam, lol you ignorant chud.

quote:

They don’t give a frick about woke ideology and they hate globalism.

lol, Islam, you ignorant chud, except they are the literal poster child for globalism/colonialism/hegemonic usurpation of resources.

quote:

These are the types of countries we should be aligning with moving forward.

Yeah, ones with a lot of the natural resources we need. Culturally, we could not be more different.

You may have a different definition but there is little doubt that MBS has a globalist mindset.

Saudi Arabia did not do 9/11. 15 of the hijackers were Saudi Arabian citizens, but they trained in Afghanistan for a terrorist group based out of Afghanistan. You can’t put that on the Saudi government.

I bet you think we should nuke Iran while giving the Saudis a pass for murdering 3,000 Americans. And do some research on the relationship between Ibn Saud and Bin Laden's father. They were thick as thieves.

Come on. How does this have an 11:1 upvote ratio? Are yall still buying the Dick Cheney narrative that 9/11 was done by the Saudis?!

In the 40's, the King of Saud was riding a camel, also known as "camel jockeying", with his national treasury hangin off the camel in a sack cloth. In the 50's, the King nationalized the Saudi oil and the NYT forced Eisenhower down from going to war to protect what we had built. People were very upset!! Soon, the "petro-dollar" was born. What kind of world would it be if it had been aborted? Of course we need to pump them up. We need our dollars back!!

The Petro Dollar is one of the fundamental cornerstones of the American Empire. It’s currently helping to hold our sh*t show fiat economy together at the seams.

Saudi is definitely an ally we need.

No, Dick Cheney said it was the Iraqis. You and your Portland tranny you’re laying next to think it was the Jews and the US government.

Conventional wisdom and Occam’s razor show the Saudis had a bunch of hands in it.

Were you one of those who are screaming upset about the Muslim- Mamdani- being elected
as mayor of NYC? How about Trump accepting a jet from another Muslim country. Now, Trump flies the Saudi flag at the White House and rolls out the carpet for the prince that dismembered a journalist who reported nefarious things about the ruler of Saudi Arabia. We won't mention 9/11. But, now Trump wants to sell them F35 jets, our most sophisticated planes.

Where was the leader of that terrorist group from?

Do some research before you chime in. Bin Laden criticized the Saudi government for allowing US troops on Saudi soil during Desert Storm. The House of Saud forced him to leave the country in 1991 and then eventually revoked his citizenship in 1994. Suffice it to say, they did not like each other.

The Saudi government loves violent radicals when they control them and they're doing their bidding. This was a group that they lost control of.

This board is obsessed with the Iranian mullahs, while simultaneously white knighting for far more dangerous folks on the Arabian peninsula. Wahhabi Sunni Muslims are the greatest external threat to Americans imo.

Wtf man why the ad hominem?

Heres what AI says. I believe my statement is correct in that Bin Laden (and the fake passports found in mint condition LOL) were Saudi.

Dick Cheney publicly stated that Osama Bin Laden and al-Qaeda were behind 9/11, but he also strongly pushed the false claim that Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein had ties to al-Qaeda to justify the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

I have done a lot of research on this topic, and it is clear you have zero idea what you are talking about. OBL was funded by a wide range of Saudis, who also funded the extremist Wahhabism that is the basis for Al-Qaeda's ideology.

When Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar arrived in California they were assisted by agents of the Saudi Government.

The Iranians are overt in their aggression to the West. The Saudis are covert.

It’s all Islam and it’s all dawa.

Because you’re laughably ignorant on the topics you’re talking about. You’ve read zero primary source materials and cite AI as your foundation.

Plus I think (hope) you’re a troll most of the time so I can’t take you seriously on things like this.

The point is we don’t care if certain people are authoritarian, repressive scumbag head choppers as long as they are OUR authoritarian, repressive scumbag head choppers. But, hey, that’s realpolitik.
