The job is Kennedy's for the asking.

I suspect he is waiting to see what role he has in the next session of the Senate.

She is good friends with my dad as they both worked for Shell at one time. I have spoken with her before in my time on the board of my organization. She would be an excellent governor. I would probably vote for her over Landry and I like Landry.

If the parishes / precincts have the same amount of ballot counters / inspectors per capita

That’s really easy. They don’t.

Can you show where any dem controlled population centers submitted final tallys before rural areas?

No. And I don’t know how any reasonable person would expect EBR Parish and Grant Parish to report results at the same time. Besides, Louisiana’s election results come in very quickly and efficiently compared to many other states.

Security?

Yes. Election security. It’s a primary concern of this board, myself included.

I have no clue how the princess bride gif is applicable to my post.

Not sure why she is waiting... she needs all the time she can get to get her name out there.

She's super smart and super practical... so that comment about paper ballots seems pretty stupid to me.

Until closed primaries happen, the losing republican side will stay home. i.e: Ralph Abraham. Rispone gave us dingaling Edwards by shitting all over Ab's base.

Look at Orleans when JBE won last. 90% of the vote and reported last. Only other parish remotely close was EBR at 66%. Statistically implausible and without he would not be Governor.

Seems like Abraham’s butthurt supporters were the sore losers who chose to stay home

Now every time urban areas take longer than Morehouse Parish to count votes, it’s fraud?

From my understanding of the current voting system, all votes are recorded electronically on cards. Once voting has ended at the precinct a record is printed on each machine of the recorded results. The cards are then sent to centralized upload point (some parishes have multiple sites while others may have just one) and sent to the secretary of States servers over its own private lan system. There is no physical counting of votes, except for paper ballots that sent via mail or turned in by homebound individuals.

I highly doubt that machines are kept on to keep adding more votes in a certain parish to keep the vote going a certain direction.

If so, the SOS should have an investigation into this, and future machines audited to ensure votes are not cast hours after polls have closed which is 8 pm from when you get in line to vote. So it is possible to vote after 8 pm. But it depends on the election and turnout.

I don’t think Hewitt will be able to dumb herself down enough to win a statewide election. Especially against Jeff Landry.

I think Jeff will be basing his platform on the REAL issues plaguing Louisiana: CRT, drag queen story hours, and abortion.
