VERY happy to see he listened to the military personnel who planned the strike and made their recommendations when to GO! It would not surprise me to learn that the Iranians were either moving things or reinforcing the sites with air defense assets to be ready in 14 days.
I remember walking into our COC on 20 March 2003 and heard we were going that night. We were crossing the LD and going into Iraqi. That was not the original plan, but we kicked it off that night and the march to Baghdad began. I'm glad the collective team moved when they needed to and Im hopeful we get the Bomb Damage Assessment we sought.

I agree — if it stops there. There was an outcry from a sizable portion of Trump’s base after Trump authorized the 2017 missile strikes in Syria after allegations that Syrian troops had used chemical weapons on the civilian populace in rebel controlled territory.
Yet after the initial strike, Trump had the good sense to not further involve the U.S. military in that war. And FWIW, no credible evidence ever emerged that a chemical attack even occurred.

I love having a President that says what he'll do and then does what he said. He said Iran could not have a nuclear bomb and they won't in the near future.
